A website should work for everyone and should not cost the earth to run. Those are two separate checks, and most sites quietly fail both. An audit tests the site the way people really use it, then gives you a plain-English list of what to fix first.
Our founder has worked to accessibility and sustainability standards inside a large arts organisation. This is how we audit a site against the same ideas.
why a scan is not enough
Automated tools are a useful start, but they only catch a fraction of real accessibility problems. They cannot tell you whether a screen reader user can book a ticket, or whether a form makes sense without a mouse.
what we check for accessibility
Page structure and headings, then the whole site using only a keyboard. Colour contrast, readable text sizes, descriptions for images that carry meaning, and forms with clear labels and error messages. Finally the key journeys, such as booking, buying or getting in touch, because that is where accessibility turns into whether you make a sale.
what we check for sustainability
A website has a carbon cost every time it loads. Heavy images, video that plays when nobody asked for it, bloated code and slow hosting all add to it. We look at how much your pages send, how they are built and where they run, then trim what can go without hurting the experience.
Lighter sites are usually faster too, which is better for visitors and for search.
what you get back
A plain-English report and a prioritised fix list, so you know what is wrong, why it matters and what to do first. Your team or developer can act on it straight away, or we can make the fixes for you. The price is fixed, so you know the cost before we start.
