Made with Ace is an artistic studio based in Plymouth, England. This page explains what happens to data when you visit this website.
The short version
- This site collects nothing about you unless you accept analytics cookies.
- The only tool used is Google Analytics, to understand which pages are useful.
- Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for advertising.
- You can change your choice at any time with the button at the bottom of this page.
Analytics
With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-B202YH8Y93) to measure how the site is used. It records things like which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world a visit came from, which site or search sent you here, and the type of device and browser. It does not record your name, email, or precise location.
Google Analytics sets two cookies in your browser once you accept:
| Cookie | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells returning visits apart from new ones | 13 months |
| _ga_B202YH8Y93 | Keeps analytics session state | 13 months |
Before you make a choice, and if you decline, Google still receives a basic signal that a page was loaded, with no cookies and no identifiers, so that visit counts stay roughly accurate. This is Google Consent Mode.
Legal basis
Analytics runs on the basis of your consent, under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. You are free to decline, and the site works exactly the same either way.
Where data goes
Analytics data is processed by Google, which may store and process it in the United States. These transfers are covered by the EU to US and UK to US Data Privacy Framework, which Google is certified under, alongside Google's standard contractual clauses. Data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months and then deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw consent at any time. In practice, for this site, the simplest routes are:
- Use the Cookie settings button below to withdraw or give consent.
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on for your browser.
- Clear cookies for this site in your browser settings.
If you have a concern that cannot be resolved, you can contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
